Transmed was established in Malta in 1988.
It was formed to incorporate the vast experience of its directors in the field of hospitality, hotel and restaurant management. The dept of expertise available within the company and the flexible approach used enables the directors who are actively involved to deal with any given task effectively and speedily. These combined efforts have ensured the success of this company in so far as that it can handle any major business concern. The extensive contacts and experience puts it in a very respectable level in any emerging solution.
Mohamed Shembesh is the company chairman and the founder. His vision and experience is behind the company’s ongoing success. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, specializing in H&R Management from Florida State University. He had his training at the Hilton and the Holiday Inn hotels, and after his graduation he became the general manager of one of Libya’s prestigious hotel, Al Jazira Palace.
In 1986, he became the general manager of Jerma Palace Hotel in Malta. Mr. Shembesh has been granted many memberships from various organizations such as:
- The International Hotels, Paris.
- The Mediterranean Tourist Hotels Managers Union, Corsica.
- The Royal International Restaurants Union, Montreux.
- The Gourmet International Organization.
